Seacare Quality Rating Training (SQRT)

The Seacare Quality Ratings Training (SQRT) and Seacare Quality Cooks Training (SQCT) courses offered by Singapore (Nantong) International Maritime Institute (SNIMI) are among the choice courses for seafarers looking to enhance their language proficiency and seafaring skills. The courses aim to upskill candidates to meet the professional needs of the maritime industry.

Seacare Quality Cooks Training (SQCT)

The Seacare Quality Cooks Training Programme (SQCT) familiarises trainees with the daily operations of the galley and job functions onboard vessels. As part of the programme requirement, trainees must also show competency in Maritime English and personal grooming, which comprises behaviour and work attitude, personal hygiene and interview tips.

MLC Ship’s Cook Training

Maritime Apprenticeship Scheme is the initiative from the tripartite collaboration of SOS, Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) in support of the government’s call to build up a Singapore Core of workers in the Maritime Industry.
